Lehman Insurance Agency, Inc. was established by Keith Lehman in his home in 1968. Today, Lehman Insurance is staffed by fourteen insurance professionals. Our main location is at Sharp Plaza in Ephrata. In January 1998 a branch office was opened in Morgantown. In October of 2008 a second branch office was opened in Mount Joy at the Norlanco Financial Center. As the agency has grown, the services offered have expanded to include additional lines of insurance for the individual and business client.

Keith Lehman President (Email) Keith grew up on a farm in northern New York. In 1964, he moved to Pennsylvania to complete two years of voluntary service and chose to remain here. He became a licensed agent in 1968. Keith thanks the Lord for the success of the agency and also for the excellent, committed employees which provide the best possible service to our clients. It is Keith's number one priority to manage the agency with high integrity and Christian values. Keith's son, Rodney, has been involved in the business for ten years and is working into management of the agency. Keith and his wife, Ernestine, have been married forty-three years. They have three grown children and three grandchildren. They are members at Forest Hills Mennonite Church and involved in church activities. Keith has served on several boards. He enjoys his mini farm of fourteen acres, travelling, walking, hunting and spending time with his family.

Rodney Lehman Licensed Commercial Lines Manager

Rodney joined Lehman Insurance Agency in 1999 and is the manager of the Commercial Lines Department. Rodney has achieved both his Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Insurance Counsel (CIC) designations. Rodney enjoys working at Lehman Insurance and helping to grow the agency along side of his father, Keith Lehman.

Rodney attended college at Eastern Mennonite University and started working for Lehman Insurance immediately after graduation. Rodney is married to Nichelle (Ginder) Lehman, and they have one son. They attend Middle Creek Church of the Brethren and are youth leaders there. In his spare time Rodney enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, hiking, water and snow skiing, church softball and youth activities/work projects.

Anna joined Lehman Insurance Agency in 2004 with twenty-five+ years of experience in the insurance industry. She has worked in both commercial and personal lines over the years, but she enjoys the diversity of commercial lines and the relationships she builds while servicing her commercial clients. Anna has been happily married for thirty-two years and is still busy with three young adult children. She enjoys taking walks and kayaking with her husband.

Bill joined Lehman Insurance Agency in 2008 and is the manager of the new Mt. Joy office. He previously owned his own business in Lancaster County for twenty years. Bill has been married to his wife, Linda, for thirty-five years. They have two children and two grandchildren. He was a founding member of the Tapestry Church. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going out to dinner and movies, watching TV and has enjoyed traveling the world. An avid sports fan, he has been a Philadelphia Eagle and New York Yankee fan his entire life.

Charissa joined Lehman Insurance Agency in 2005 and is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR). She works as both the receptionist and a Customer Service Representative in the Personal and Commercial lines.

In her spare time, Charissa enjoys a variety of activities, including reading, cooking, painting, tennis and other outdoor activities. She is actively involved in her home church, Ephrata Mennonite, as well as staff member at Friday Night Skate, a youth program of New Life Fellowship.

Chuck has been employed by Lehman Insurance Agency since 2007. In 2008, he completed a thirty-week Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) program. Prior to his employment at our agency, he worked for twenty years in the sales and customer service fields.

Chuck grew up in upstate New York, went to college in Virginia and has lived in Lancaster County since 1987. He and wife, Carol, and have two sons, Clay and Carson. In addition to spending time with his family, he is involved with his church and enjoys various sporting activities and motorcycle riding.

Chuck's personal philosophy is to treat others the way he would want to be treated. Honesty and integrity is the key in any relationship.

Herb Hoover Licensed Commercial and Personal Lines Sales Representative

Herb joined the Lehman Insurance Agency staff in 2008 as a member of the sales team. He came from the agricultural world with seventeen years in greenhouse management and eighteen years in chip potato procurement.

Other than raising his daughter, Herb has served on many civic and church boards (currently at Leola Homes of Hope) and teaches in various church settings. He loves gardening, participating in sports and socializing with friends.

Joyce has been employed by Lehman Insurance Agency since 2005 as a part-time bookkeeper and administrative assistant. In 2007, she began working full-time in our agency. She serves as both the Office Manager and in the Commercial Department providing both administrative support and customer service to our clients. In her spare time, Joyce enjoys spending time with her husband of twenty-seven years and two adult children, walking her dog, playing board games, reading and scrapbooking. She attends Grace Church in Lititz.

Lois enjoys golfing, the beach, spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Marty Peifer Risk Analysis

Marty joined the Lehman Insurance Agency staff after forty-five+ years in the agricultural business. He works part-time as an Outside Property Inspector which involves photographing, measuring, and completing questionnaires/worksheets/diagrams for properties we insure.

Marty, a lifetime resident of Lancaster County, and his wife, Joyce, are the parents of four children and ten grandchildren. He enjoys family and church activities, travel, gardening, friends and sports. He says each of these activities contribute toward a life of blessings and joy.

Renae Nolt Licensed Personal Lines Customer Service Representative

Renae joined Lehman Insurance in 2005. She divides her time between the Ephrata and Morgantown offices as Personal Lines Customer Service Representative. While in Morgantown, she also serves as office administrator. Renae has achieved the designation of Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR). She enjoys the staff she works with at Lehman Insurance as well as the customer service aspect of her job.

Renae is an active member of Weaverland Mennonite Church. In her spare time, she enjoys taking motorcycle trips with her husband, fishing, water skiing and horseback riding.
